Games for Connection

First off : Because of increased Meetup membership costs (basically doubled), we will have voluntary dues. $1 per person per meet. My venmo is @donald-edgar-1 and the last four of my phone is 7723. We are also not opposed to cash, but apparently that makes us dinosaurs.

We’ve been running this game night thing for four years. Yeah, four years! Some folks show up every week, some pop in and out. Had this one guy, played cards with us for a year, then up and moved for a job. We all got a bit misty-eyed when he left. Made me realize we were more than just a bunch of board game nerds.
We started this whole shebang just to have some people to play games with. But it turned into something more. It’s a place to make friends, a place to fit in, a place for some good, clean, predictable fun. Kinda like that bar where everybody knows your name, you know? So if you’re curious about what this is all about, drop by on a Thursday.
We kick things off at 6:00. You can waltz in and out whenever you want. If we’re in the middle of a game, just grab a seat and wait your turn. We usually wrap things up around 9:00. No pressure to stick around longer than you want or to be punctual!
Most of the time, we just pick a game on the fly. But if you’ve got a game you’re itching to play, just ask. We’ll see if anyone else is game. We often have a new game each week. One of us will teach it, so no worries if you’ve never played before.
*Kids 12 and up are welcome, but they gotta have an adult with them.

Tammi Shepard is your host and this is our Thai massage jam® at a new location. This is a community bodywork event where we trade share and teach some mat based manual therapy techniques.
You can come alone or bring a partner to learn to work with like a brief massage class and it's open to massage therapists as well as folks with no experience who want to learn and/or deepen their skills and give great massages with less effort.
Wear loose comfortable clothing and feel free to ask questions of Tammi at the event should you need any assistance
