What we’re about
Are you a black girl/ woman that?
• experience difficulty in meeting people in an unfamiliar place,
• avoid conversation because you think you may say something silly.
• or after you say something you repeat in your head what you “should have said"
• your comebacks are not fast enough,
• you hate being held responsible for initiating conversation
• you may be an AWKWARD BLACK GIRL (ABG)
What's the purpose of the group? The purpose of this group is to bring ABG’s together to discuss our awkwardness ,why we feel like outcast but really aren’t, the world, change, life, fashion, or whatever you want.
Who should join? Self-described ABG’s from 20-100. More mature ABG’s can mentor our younger ABG’s and let them know that being an ABG can be fascinating, sometimes scary, yet rewarding and fun.
