If you have always wanted to learn to ballroom dance and to meet other active people that love music and dancing then, this is the group for you!
We are a friendly and welcoming group of people that are always looking to make new friends. You do not need a partner to attend any of our weekly dance classes or our Dance Parties. We pair up and change partners often, so you will get to know many new dancers at each event. We welcome new beginning dancers as well as those that are at an advanced level. We dance to a variety of contemporary and ballroom favorites, using popular dances such as the Foxtrot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, ChaCha, Rumba, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Samba, Night Club 2-Step, and Country Western Two Step. You can expect to meet lots of new friendly people, have a great time while learning some new moves, and dance all evening at any of our events!
Ballroom Sensation is a ballroom dancing studio located in Rochester, MI at Retro Fitness. Owner and instructor Karmin Kuehnel has over 25 years of professional teaching experience. She offers private ballroom dancing instruction, group classes and dance parties for couples and singles of all ages.
