What we’re about
During the COVID-19 pandemic & the shutdown of many in-door gyms and fitness centers, we wanted to establish a healthy environment that encourages people to venture outdoors. This group was created to provide you with 5 things:
-
Walking & exercise
-
Breathing fresh air
-
Discovering nature
-
Meeting new people
-
Taking a break from everyday life
Feel free to join us for a walk or hike!
Pets are welcome except in parks where they are prohibited. :)

We will do Choate to Connector to Red Run Area.
Maryland DNR describes the park: “Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area (NEA) is comprised of 1,900 acres of serpentine barren. The area has over 39 rare, threatened, or endangered plant species as well as rare insects, rocks and minerals. There are seven miles of marked hiking trails. Equestrians and cyclists are prohibited due to the sensitive nature of the area.”
One dog is allowed, but must be kept on leash. Please keep your canine friend in the back of the pack as they often make smelling and marking stops.
