Basel Together is an international social media community that brings together people from diverse backgrounds in and around the Basel area.
Our aim is to create opportunities for socializing, connecting, and making new friends through a range of events.
Whether you're an expat or a local Swiss resident, you're welcome to join our community and be a part of creating a vibrant and inclusive social scene in Basel.
Founded in 2018, our community counts several thousand members on diverse online platforms.

See all- Swiss National Day celebration with Firework on the RhineFlora Buvette, Basel
On 31 July, Basel celebrates the Swiss National Day with fireworks on the Rhine. Many food & drink stands as well as music stages will create a festival atmosphere until 2am of next day on both banks of the Rhine.
We'll first gather at Flora Buvette at 8pm and you can easily find us with our large orange Basel Together flag.
We have a dedicated Whatsapp group where we share our position:

Let's go floating up the Rhine together and enjoy afterwards drinks with snacks at Oetlinger Buvette :)
It's on the day of the Official Basel Rhine Swim.We first meet at the beach in front of the Tinguely museum at 6pm and go out at the steps at Oetlinger Buvette, where we stay until around 10pm.
You can easily spot us with our large orange Basel Together flag and this event is organised together with Hyve.
