Note: New Memberships currently On hold due to demand. We do not have the bandwidth to accommodate more hikes.
We are a group of women who enjoy challenging weekday hikes in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is not a group for beginners. Some of us are retired or with kids off to college, some are stay at home moms with school-age kids, others have flexible work schedules or are in between jobs. Some are international visitors/visa holders/green card holders or dual citizenships. Regardless, we all have time during weekdays when the trails are empty and parking is a breeze!
We mainly focus on peninsula, south bay, east bay, and coastal trails, but also plan excursions to Mt. Tam, Marin Headlands, and San Francisco urban hikes. Most hikes are 6-10 miles and moderate to strenuous with significant elevation gain of 1000-2000 feet elevation. Sometimes we do exploratory hikes and some hikes can include some scrambles - please be sure to read the entire hike description so you know what you are signing up for in advance. In order to keep to the planned schedule and keep the group moving, anyone unable to keep up will need to feel comfortable navigating their way back on their own.
All members can schedule a hike or suggest a hike, and are encouraged to do so through the meetup app! Let me know if you have questions on how to do this.

FAQ's
•Can I bring my baby or toddler? Although we love kids, our hikes are not suitable for young children
• Can I bring my dog? Sometimes! I will specify which hikes are dog friendly. If you are bringing a new dog, just tell us a little about him/her in the comment section
Please note that for safety reasons, we have a 3 hiker minimum requirement. Unless we have at least 3 hikers confirmed 2 hours before the start of the hike, the hike will be cancelled. Thanks for your understanding!
