This relaxed happy-hour-style event is hosted by one of our New Beginnings Sisters who has graciously opened her home. If the weather is clear, we might catch the sunset from her back deck — a perfect way to wrap up the day. 🌇
🍷 Bring: A bottle of wine or a small appetizer (finger food) to share.
💬 Vibe: Cozy, friendly, and full of good conversation.

🎸 Los Altos First Friday: A Night of Music, Fun + 10-15 Bands! 🎤 🎶 💃🏻🕺
Enchanté Boutique Hotel, 1 Main St, Los Altos, CA, US🎸 It’s that time again! On the First Friday of every month, downtown Los Altos comes alive with live music (10-15 bands!), dancing, food, drinks, and plenty of people-watching along First and Main Streets. 🎤 💃🏻 🕺
Our own Rob Van Wandelen’s House Band will be performing on the patio at Enchanté Boutique Hotel from 6:00–8:00 pm. House Band brings high-energy dance music spanning the Stones, Beatles, Elton John, Pink, Black Keys, and Adele.
While Rob is performing, look for Martin (cohost) to find your New Beginnings friends. During the set break, Rob usually stops by for a beer and a quick “hi.” Enchanté Hotel is our usual hub for the evening until 8 pm. · Location: Port of Redwood City – our group gathers to the left of the stage, just behind the twin palm trees near the Blue Fish Kitchen food truck.

Check out the Port's Rock the Dock concert series web page, including info on each week's band: here. All concerts take place on Saturdays, year-round. As the weather cools and Daylight Savings ends, they move indoors to St. James Gate in Belmont and play 2:30-5:30 pm.🅿️ PARKING
- Main Lot: The Port’s main parking lot fills quickly. Come early!
- Overflow Lot: If the main lot is full, use the overflow lot just east of the main entrance on Seaport Blvd.
- How to enter the Overflow Lot:
Instead of turning left into the main lot, make a soft diagonal left just before the median (yes, it feels like you’re heading toward oncoming traffic!) and go through the gate. - Walking Route: After parking in the overflow lot, walk back out to Seaport Blvd to get to the dock.
