Bay Area Social Scene

We're back in SF with another mixer in the New Year! This time we'll be venturing into the jungles of Pagan Idol Tiki Bar off Bush Street after work on Friday. Join us for a fun time to make new friends and connections! We will be staying at the Tiki Bar for the majority of the time to make sure everyone can find us in one spot. We're getting here relatively early at 6pm so that we beat some of the later night crowds that tend to come through past 9pm. If you don't want to drink and just stop by to say hi to new people, that's okay too! Hope to see you there!

Our overwhelmingly popular SPEED-FRIENDING event is continuing. Join us at Lake Merritt in Oakland to experience your new (or old) and favorite way of building that social circle in the Bay while having fun in the process!

We will have different games for everyone to play as a way to socialize together once we have enough participants. We will post our live location so everyone is able to find us. Come through and make some new connections on Sunday!

Bay Area Social Scene friends! We're live at Mad Oak bar in Oakland Saturday at 2pm. There’s a salsa event taking place afterwards that will likely take up the bar, so we are scheduling for an earlier meet up! We'll be making new friends and connections through the evening as a general mixer for April! Grab some guests if you want to bring them along and catch up with BASS! We hope to see you there!

Transportation: There is the Lake Merritt BART station a few blocks walking distance nearby from Mad Oak. Be sure to Google Maps the neighborhood beforehand if you plan on parking there as it can be limited on the street!

Join new friends for an exciting Bay Area version of SQUID GAMES in Golden Gate Park! Contestants will compete in different challenges against each other based on the games from the TV show. Be sure to bring water, athletic gear and good shoes for an active day out. We'll gather at 12pm, do some warm up stretching, then explain how each game round will work. And don't worry! If you get eliminated early on, there will be makeup rounds where you can get back into the mix later. The winner of Squid Games may even have a prize waiting for them - TBD! See everyone soon!
