Park gate closes at 4:30 PM. In order to not be in a rush, we will park outside and walk to the TH. It's about 3.5K extra one way, 40 minute walk on the flat road. Bring snowshoes as we will need them past the lake.

This is NOT a beginners hike (see specs below). Please make sure you ARE ABLE to go the distance and CAN do the elevation! If in doubt, wait for an easier hiking event to RSVP into.

Difficulty : Difficult
Distance: 11km out and back.
Elevation gains: 1000m
Pace: moderate pace
Carpool: $7-10 / hr of driving per person. Cash preferred.
No guest no dogs please.

Carpooling:
It is suggested that passengers offer the driver $8.00 per hour of driving (includes mileage and vehicle wear and tear). This is a guideline and the driver may charge more or less depending on the situation. Please state in the RSVP whether you can offer a ride or need a ride, and where you will be coming from. Passengers, please ensure you show up on time and bring a bag for wet/muddy footwear and clothing. Also please make every effort to get to a convenient pick-up-place for your Driver! Do not leave carpooling arrangements to the last minute. You, not the event organizer are responsible for arranging your transportation to events.
PASSENGERS:
Message a driver asking for a seat only when you are on the going list. Remember to bring an extra pair of shoes so you’re not getting mud/snow in their car.

Every attendee must display a clear, unobstructed, current close-up photo of themselves. Also, if you do NOT answer all of the questions in your profile, and/or if you input random characters or info to fake an answer to the one RSVP question, then your RSVP will be Ignored or Rejected. Until corrected, those on the Wait List ahead of you with a proper profile will be Accepted before you.
