What we’re about
A group for men in the Bellingham/Whatcom County area looking to create a community of their own. After three years we are growing steadily. Men being together on a deeper, more soul oriented level is alive in Whatcom county! Our work to create a safe space to truly share about our daily lives, our struggles big and small, and our dreams continues to live on in this group and the splinter social groups (open to all)!
Meetings are mostly weekly and float around between Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays because of facilitator availability. We need more facilitators and will train yet its mostly listening deeply and watching to make sure everyone has a chance. The synergy of the group creates the meat of the meeting.
Please RSVP to meetings and events to receive the location which may be at someone's house. We use both an email list and post on Meetup- the "Bellingham Mens Group". Meetup is the easiest and when you join the group you will get announcements of each event and have an easy way to RSVP to each one. Joining Meetup will not expose you to any inappropriate emails.
- Respect: Each of us is human, and brings our own opinions/thoughts, and we honor where each man is in his own journey, as a brother.
- Container: What we discuss within the group stays within the group, others' stories are not for you to share, this is essential to create a safe container for one another.
- Growth: Each of us are here to learn, to grow, and to expand our capacity as men, bring your curiosity and openness always.
- Integrity: We hold to what we say we will do, and always strive to remain in our own personal integrity.
