What we’re about
We are a group for men in the Bellingham/Whatcom County area looking for community. We are growing steadily and we support each other in these challenging times. Men being together on a deeper, more soul oriented level is alive in Whatcom County! Our work to create a safe space to truly share about our daily lives, our struggles big and small, and our dreams continues to live on in this group. We also have various splinter social groups and events (open to all).
Meetings are every Thursday at 6:30pm, unless otherwise specified on our Meetup page. We meet at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (1207 Ellsworth Street Bellingham, WA 98225). This is a great place to hold meetings, but the group is secular and welcomes people of all backgrounds.
We use both an email list and post here on Meetup. Meetup is the easiest and when you join the group you will get announcements of each event and have an easy way to RSVP to each one. Joining Meetup will not expose you to any inappropriate emails. Our separate e-mail list also keeps members up to date, if that is preferable.
We have a yearly voluntary fee of $10-$15 that can be paid in cash or Venmo (Carlos Rodriguez @cjr3525, https://venmo.com/code?user_id=4123962225198370153&created=1734624260)
- Respect: Each of us is human, and brings our own opinions/thoughts, and we honor where each man is in his own journey, as a brother.
- Container: What we discuss within the group stays within the group, others' stories are not for you to share, this is essential to create a safe container for one another.
- Growth: Each of us are here to learn, to grow, and to expand our capacity as men, bring your curiosity and openness always.
- Integrity: We hold to what we say we will do, and always strive to remain in our own personal integrity.

If you arrive late, call 425-535-7170 to be let in.
We are small but mighty (and diverse!) group with varying ages and are in varying stages of separation/divorce, most with kids. We have been gathering monthly with smaller social gatherings in between.
Please note no one in the group is a trained therapist/counselor or claims to be. Although we do have ground rules and expectations that attendees are asked to review and agree to. We support each other regularly, through meetings, gatherings, group texts, etc. No pressure ever; "challenge by choice" type thing. We would love to have you join us if you are going through the process of divorce and/or separation. It's not an easy or pain-free process and we, as humans, generally do better with, and in-community - don't suffer in silence.
We meet every Thursday at 6:30 unless otherwise notified on MeetUp.
Although the location is published and consistent, we also notify on Reddit and use an email distribution for ongoing members.
