BEST Kids Mentors

This is a private, internal group exclusively for the use of current BEST Kids mentors and staff. If you aren't a current mentor, please visit our website at bestkids.org to learn more about becoming one. 

The purpose of the BEST Kids Mentors group is to create a space where mentors can connect with other mentors in the BEST Kids program and learn about the many events and activities BEST Kids holds each month, including Peer Groups, Mentor Training, Happy Hours, and other many other activities.  

Please make sure to only RSVP for your Peer Group. We encourage you to use Meetup to connect with other mentors in your Peer Group - this should make it easier to see who is in your group! You'll also be able to easily email your Peer Group Coordinator with questions, feedback, and peer group ideas.

Additionally, the Meetup page has a discussion board, an open venue for mentors to post questions for other mentors and Advisory Board members. Please feel free to post questions about any occurrences or behaviors you encounter with their mentee. Most likely, if you have a question about something, at least a couple of other mentors have the same questions. Mentors and Advisory Board members will respond to questions with their suggestions, thoughts, and expertise.
