What we’re about
Welcome to Chicago Lands "BlackHawk Gamers Club", we are a table top RPG and miniatures gaming group, focused on Dungeons and Dragons. We play in a fully completed Home Brew World. We game bi-weekly, our current sessions are Sunday's, from 1pm to 6pm, we are open to ages 16 and above. Food and drink are covered.
Each game session is played with up to 10 people, our story lines are of standard medieval fantasy, filled with magic, monsters, intrigue, adventure and Role Play. Our gaming environment is a home and a fun place for both young gamers and adults. Our connected group consists of about 30 people, who can show up periodically.
1. We consider that many players like DND 5E, on this account we temper some game options to keep the game easy for those with inexperience.
2. You can start playing in our game without buying or having your own books, we have both digital and physical books for you to use during the game.
3. You can print a generic pre-generated or specifically created character from our Hero Lab program or bring your own.
4. New characters start at either 1st-level, or 2 levels below the average party level. Some PC's store several characters of different levels so that they're always ready for a new game or for the loss of a current character.
5. If you don't have time to make a character, you can use a pre generated PC and then update when you have time or after the game in our Hero Lab.
