Greetings All! The Vegetarians of Central Florida are hosting the 19th Annual Central Florida Veg Fest on Saturday, October 26, 2024. If you have ever thought about becoming a vegetarian or vegan, this would be a great opportunity to try out some fantastic vegan food and learn about the lifestyle from many of the vendors and speakers in attendance. There will also be yoga and meditations, food demonstrations, dancing and music, etc.

This is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, smoke and alcohol-fee event. It is typically very well-attended, so if you do go, I recommend that you arrive as early as possible.

Parking is $5 per vehicle, and you will need to purchase your own meals and souvenirs, but The Veg Fest itself is free to attend.

This event repeats on the first Saturday of each month and is open to everyone. The satsangs are opportunities for you to ask questions and participate in intimate spiritual discussions with people from all over the world that will uplift, inspire, and help to deepen your relationship with the Divine.

A small donation is requested to balance the energy of what is received. OM is the universal sound of creation, the highest and purest vibration that exists. When we practice OM Chanting, we practice padaseva bhakti—the expression of Divine Love and service to all beings.

As a collective, the group attunes to the Divine presence of OM, expanding their awareness and enabling one another to dive deeper into finding Divine Love within.

Housekeeping Items:

• The event is FREE to participate.
• There may be chairs in the room that we can use, or if you prefer you can bring your own meditation cushion to sit on the floor. Oftentimes chanting is done on the floor, but if someone prefers to use a chair, that is perfectly ok. Do what is most comfortable for you.
• If possible, please park on the left side of the building as you face it, or in the side lot, rather than in the main lot out front, so that we don't take spots away from the regular patrons. If you do park on the side, there is a side door entry, so you can enter there as well.
• This will be an unplugged event. Please plan to turn off your phones (or put them on vibrate), and any other devices, and set them aside while we chant.
• Please do not leave the circle once we begin chanting as this will disrupt the positive flow of energy and distract those in attendance.
• Masks are not required, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one, by all means please do. Depending on the number of people in attendance, you may be sitting very close to others, so please bear that in mind.
• If you are feeling in any way ill, please stay home, take of yourself, and join us another time.
