What we’re about
We are a group of friendly people who enjoy road riding in the beautiful countryside surrounding Geneva.
Our rides occur March-October, on Saturday mornings (4-5 hours), and Thursday evenings (2 hours) during daylight savings. We have 4 ride levels, from moderately easy to quite challenging, all led by experienced guides. Bike Switzerland also rents high quality road, touring, gravel and e-bikes. Click here to learn more.
Please sign up with a level that suits your abilities; this will ensure you can keep up and not slow down other riders. If you're not sure, choose the relaxed level the first time out with us. Look at the Meetup events we post for more details.

- Tour du Lac de GenèveHorloge Fleurie Jardin Anglais, Geneva
🕢 We meet at l’Horloge Fleurie at 7:30 🕢
Join me for this ride where we will do the famous Tour du Léman in the right way: Clockwise 😸
Distance: 176 Km
Elevation gain: 800 m
Start time: 7:30 @ Horloge Fleurie
Estimate return to start: 15:30
Average speed: 27 Km/h
Route: Strava, GPXPlease download the route to your cycling computer or phone.
The average pace will be around 27 Km/h and it should take us around 6:30 to complete it. Assuming about 1:30 for the breaks, we should be back to Geneva around 15:30.
Everyone is welcome to join, but please ensure you can maintain this average speed for the duration of the ride. If you regularly join the challenging or peak rides, this should be easy for you. If moderate rides are easily manageable, you should be fine as well. If you have already done it, you can assess whether 27 km/h is feasible for you.
The route is mostly flat, with an elevation gain of only 800 m. Plus, riding in a group can save you around 30% of your energy.
