Black Women Of South London

This is a group for South London based (or those willing to travel to South) black women who are looking to make new friends, meet new people and have some fun!

Polite notice - 3 no shows when you’ve rsvp’d will result in being removed from the group. If you’re no longer able to attend or no longer interested, change your RSVP. Cancellations less than 48 hours before an event will also be classed as a no show. If you RSVP and do not pay the event fee within 48 hours, you will lose your spot.

We do a variation of things, everyone is free to make suggestions.

*brunches, lunches and dinners
*days out and nights out
*movie nights, game nights, activity days
*day trips, weekends away and holidays even
*this is also a great opportunity to network and make some new friends

There is a £2 RSVP fee for some events, this is to cover admin time - looking for events, contacting venues, making bookings etc and monthly meetup fees. It does take a lot of time to find and plan events and Meetup charges organisers quite a lot too so this small contribution is just to help keep this group running. Some venues ask for a deposit to secure a booking so if you’re ever asked to pay more than this £2, this money isn’t for the organiser, it’s going to the venue.
