What we’re about
Welcome! This group is dedicated to building connection and community through Baltimore’s vibrant craft beer and distillery scene. Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur, whiskey enthusiast, or just curious about the local beverage culture, this is your group.
We organize regular outings to some of the best breweries, distilleries, and taprooms in Baltimore and surrounding areas. Along the way, we’ll support local businesses, share stories, and enjoy great company.
Come for the drinks, stay for the community! Cheers!!
Resources
For additional resources and more history on where we've been, the local brewery scene, and more, I've posted them to my personal page on Notion as a guide.
Untappd
We use Untappd as our social platform to connect and share our experiences on the craft side of the house.
Audience
Our group is typically geared toward people in the 20s to 40s as conversations and experiences tend to orient toward that stage of life. That doesn’t mean others aren’t welcome! If you’re outside that range and comfortable in that group dynamic, by all means come join!
I’ve always felt like eating tacos brings me one step closer to heaven. I think we may have the perfect pairing to make that statement come to life. Come join the brew crew at the Ministry of Brewing!!
What’s most incredible about this space is that they set up their whole operation by revitalizing the former St. Michael’s Church. The church itself was originally built in 1857 by a Baltimore architect, Louis Long. It took them two years just to preserve the church, and they launched in January 2020.
But wait, there’s more!
That area around Highlandtown and Patterson Park is a hub for tacos. So even though Cocina Luchadoras, a short walk from MoB and our original pick, closed it's doors, there's plenty of nearby options.
We'll be doing a group order via DoorDash with Bmore Taqueria, a mexican restaurant heralded for the al pastor tacos.
Got some opinions on where the best taco joint in Baltimore is? Let the debate begin.
