Anyone who would like to meet new people and want to be involved into a new project is welcome, this is a very casual activity so no pressure for newcomers!
Blood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game for 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by a storyteller who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions.
During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil.
Of a 'night' time, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or kill. Use all your powers of deduction and deception to survive this game of murder and mystery.
The Storyteller uses the game's intricate playing pieces to guide each game, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave.

All languages and levels are welcome, and we are inclusive of all ages, races, religions etc. Whether you're a polyglot, a beginner just starting with Duolingo Spanish, or you just want to come and socialise, you will be welcomed to our community of language learners and international friends.🙌 What to Expect:
- Board games: a welcoming space where guests can come solo or in groups, meet new people, and connect through play!
- Language Practice: Whether you’re fluent in Spanish, Italian, English, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or any other language, our hosts will help you connect with people who match your language interests.
- Inclusive Atmosphere: We welcome all languages and levels, and make sure everyone feels comfortable—especially if you're coming alone! It’s a relaxed environment perfect for making new friends and practicing languages at your own pace.
- Socialising - Coming alone or with friends, this is a great opportunity to meet new people in the city. Unlike some other meetup ‘groups’, we do not fill our events with fake members, and you can check how many people attend each week via our Instagram.
👋 How does it work?
- Pay either via Eventbrite or you can pay on the door!
- Join other members and the board game organisers to try out different games and social activities
- Get talking! With the help of our host you will be able to find other people attending the event with compatible language interests - we are all very friendly and the majority of our attendees come alone, so there’s no need to worry about getting involved!
