What we’re about
Let’s get together and keep the history and spirit of a classic Stitch and Bitch club alive in Boise! Bring whatever project you are working on with you - crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, sewing, coloring, or other crafts - and meet other crafters at a variety of locations around Boise.
Our meetups bring together fun, lively, and dynamic crafters. We have great conversations, but we’re also introvert-friendly; you’re welcome to chatter away or just sit and listen. We're an inclusive group - all crafters are welcome as long as you come with an attitude of community, kindness, and acceptance.

Group Policy
Boise Stitch n Bitch now a private group. We also have a group policy that can be read here. All members of Boise Stitch n Bitch, existing and new, are responsible for reading and abiding by the group policy.
You must have photo of your face and the name you go by in your profile to join; you’ll be asked to confirm that you have both when you request to join. You’ll also be asked what you’d like to get out of Stitch n Bitch events and what crafts you enjoy.
RSVPs & Attendance
There is currently a lot of demand for Stitch n Bitch events, which means that the event “Going” (attendance) lists fill up quickly and waitlists are getting longer. This has led to some members to sign up for multiple events and then drop out as the date of the event gets closer. This makes event management difficult for event organizers and attendance planning difficult for people on the event waitlists.
Please abide the following to ensure that there is space for everyone:
- Members are responsible for managing their own RSVPs, whether they are on the event Going list or the event Waitlist; please don't sign-up unless you're relatively certain that you'll be attending.
- When you RSVP, please check to see if you are on the Going list or the Waitlist.
- Even if you are on the Waitlist, each member is still responsible for maintaining their RSVP. Waitlists often clear out quickly, especially in the last few days before an event, and Meetup automatically moves members to the Going list.
- If you are on the Waitlist, do not attend the event anyway. Two or more violations will result in removal from the group.
- Do not attend events without an RSVP.
- Any guest you bring must be included in your RSVP; do not bring guests who are not on the official attendance list. Two or more violations will result in removal from the group.
- These rules apply to every member and any guests they have included in the RSVP.
No-Shows
- Canceling your RSVP (from the Going list) on the day of the event will be considered a no-show.
- After two (2) no-shows, either by not coming to an event you're on the Going list for OR by canceling your RSVP on the day of the event, you will be removed from the group.
- However, if you are a no-show and you blocked someone on the Waitlist from attending, you will be removed from the group on the first occurrence.
- If you have extenuating circumstances, it is your responsibility to contact the event organizer as soon as possible by DM on Meetup, by text at 910-574-1261, or by email at boisestitching@gmail.com.
