PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING TO JOIN US - THANK YOU
We are a group of friendly, supportive local women who like to socialise. We go out for meals, coffee & cake/lunches, arrange theatre & cinema visits, a monthly book club, walks, holidays abroad etc, etc. Members are asked to organise at least 1 event a year to share the responsibilities plus have a variety. All ideas are welcomed, just contact one of the organisers.
Our membership fee is £5 per year to cover the cost of using the website charged by Meetup. The fee is payable to Elaine Green 01-09-48 19839545 after your application is approved. If you haven't paid your £5 membership within one month you'll be removed from the group. Do note that this payment is an annual renewal of membership is payable again on 30 September for all members, even if new to the group. Please ensure when paying your £5 subscription you do put your name as reference too.
If you want to come on an event then RSVP (even if there is a waitlist) places often become available. If you are down to attend but can't make it please give 48 hours notice, and change your RSVP to potentially make a place available for someone on the waitlist. Please be considerate towards other members - If you are a 'NO SHOW' twice you will be excluded from the group. Please also note that only members can join our events too.
It is important to let us know your full name so that we can identify you when you pay your subs or ticket money or when you RSVP to an event.
There is a Facebook page too if use social media and pictures/tips are shared on that site too.
The (few) rules we have are there to help us all enjoy ourselves and ensure that the group runs fairly. Always remember to "be kind" when making comments or contacting any of the organisers too.
