Welcome to Book Pubs, Bellingham’s only Michelin-starred book club, hosted at Ponderosa Beer and Books. From the classics to contemporary, this monthly gathering will provide hours of terror and delight to the more refined bibliophiles of Washington’s Northwestern corner. Pull up a chair, grab a book, and get ready to spend a wry weeknight with complete strangers (new friends?) at Bookpubs.
The "Menu"
We endeavor to make your experience with Book Pubs as pleasant as possible. Consequently, our host will provide each of our exclusive members with a menu curated to satisfy the most insatiable curiosity. Six items in total, our menu will include three seasonal flavors of genre and specify plot as well as page count. At the end of each meeting, we will vote on one book to be read at the next Book Pubs. Members may submit their own choices to be included in the menu ahead of time.
What better way to spend Whatcom’s dark and stormy evenings than by reading atmospheric tales at your favorite local haunt? We’re looking forward to making your acquaintance! Come play! Forever and ever and ever …
