Boston Subtle Asians

Our first scavenger hunt was such a hit, we’re bringing it back! This fall, join us for an afternoon of adventure, laughter, and exploring some of Boston’s most iconic neighborhoods—Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Downtown Crossing, and Chinatown. Gather your friends (or make new ones!) and see if your team has what it takes to rack up the most points.

📍 Meeting Point
Meet at the George Washington Statue in the Boston Public Garden (42.3539° N, 71.0710° W).

🕒 Schedule

• 1:00 PM – Arrive, check in, and form your teams (up to 7 people per team).
• 2:00 PM – Rules and format explained, scavenger hunt sheets handed out.
• 2:30 PM – The hunt begins! Stay together as a team while you explore and complete challenges.
• 4:00 PM – Meet at the finishing point (one of the challenges) and the big reveal of the winning team.

🏆 How It Works

• Teams must stick together throughout the hunt.
• Scavenger items are worth different point values depending on difficulty.
• The team with the highest score at the end wins bragging rights (and maybe some prizes 👀).

Please join us for mochi snacks and learn how to draw anime!

This September’s prompt will be K-Pop Demon Hunters! We'll begin drawing characters including Rumi, Mira, Zoey, and Jinu.

During every meetup, the anime character(s) will be printed and handed out to draw as a reference.

All levels of drawing experience are welcome.

After sketching the character, we will head over to a nearby cafe as a group to get some boba tea or matcha.

Please bring a sketchbook and some pencils/erasers with you to the session.

Bringing back one of our signature events, but in a new and more accessible location! Come get your Saturday night started with Boston Subtle Asians! Mix and mingle, and enjoy great drinks and bites in a fun, lively atmosphere. Bring your favorite table games or show up and try new games! Not really into games? No problem - come hang out and make new friends!

Games: Please bring your favorite board / card / drinking games! This is a group effort and the more games we have available, the more fun it will be!

Location / Food / Drink: "Bar Moxy" is a bar located on the second floor of the Moxy Boston Downtown hotel. There is a full bar with specialty cocktails and a small food menu. Please support the venue by purchasing food and/or drinks.

Transportation / Parking: If you are driving, there is metered street parking on nearby streets, and several paid garage options (use SpotHero for best deals). For those taking public transportation, the location is about a 5 minute walk from Boylston (green line) and Chinatown (orange line) stations.
