This space is for anyone seeking clarity, calm, or connection—whether you're in a season of stress, celebration, transition, or curiosity. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be “spiritual.” You just need to show up with a willing heart and at least one lung.

### Why We Breathe
Breathwork is one of the simplest, most accessible practices we have for releasing stress, restoring nervous system balance, and reconnecting to our truth. It clears mental fog, softens emotional weight, and reopens the door to peace, creativity, and presence.

### What to Expect
Each session includes a guided breathwork journey with music, grounding, intention-setting, time to integrate, and space to share if you feel called.
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes, with 30–45 minutes of active breathing. All levels are welcome, and modifications are offered as needed.

### Meet Your Guide
Hi, I’m Joey.
In 2023, breathwork found me during a time of searching—and became a way back to presence, clarity, and truth. In 2024, I began sharing it with others: creating space to pause, breathe, and reconnect to what really matters.
My background weaves through tech, entrepreneurship, and creative exploration. Over the past decade, I’ve been learning how to lead from both strategy and soul—and breathwork has become one of my most trusted companions along the way.
Each session is crafted with care and a little magic, designed to help you feel more grounded, more true, and more alive.

### Join Us: What to bring
Breathwork With Friends currently meets in the North Austin area. Sessions are held regularly and often include music, light guidance, time to connect, and journaling.
Bring water, a journal, a yoga mat or blanket, and whatever helps you feel cozy.

You will find some of our events are free/donation-based, and others are offered at a sliding rate with a minimum contribution.

Let’s close out the month together—connected, grounded, and breathing freely.
Join us for a nourishing in-person breathwork session in North Austin—held outdoors in a peaceful spot close to nature. We’ll begin by arriving intentionally, drop into a guided breathwork journey, then move into journaling and optional sharing for those who feel called.
This session is open to all—whether you’re releasing stress, seeking clarity, or simply craving space to reconnect with yourself and others. No experience necessary.***

- Gentle welcome and grounding

- Water, journal, and something comfy to sit or lay on
- Appropriate layers for the weather (hat, blanket, jacket as needed)

What if I’m late?
Life happens—just enter quietly and find your space in the back.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. You don’t have to be a “pro.” Just a human with at least one lung 😉
Do I have to share?
Never required. Sharing is offered, not expected. This is your space.***
### 🛑 Safety Reminder
Please consult your doctor if you have medical conditions. Breathwork is not recommended for pregnancy, epilepsy, cardiovascular issues, or if you’re currently experiencing a serious health condition. Always listen to your body.
By attending our events, you acknowledge and consent to being aware of the risks of participating in activities (indoor or outdoor) such as breathwork, yoga, hiking, and any other activity listed or unlisted. You assume all risks, foreseeable and unforeseeable, in any way connected with your participation. Please consult with a physician to make sure this event is suitable for you.
By attending you agree that Breath Work With Friends and its members are not responsible for any losses, liabilities, injuries or damages resulting from any and all claims as a result of the information or guidance given during these sessions. . If you partake in any breathing session, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these sessions, assume all risk of injury to yourself. Do not practice this breathwork during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions, should always consult a medical professional before starting breathwork. These breathing exercises are a guide only, you should always listen to your body and never push yourself. Never practice breathing exercises before or during driving, swimming, bathing, or in any other circumstance where the loss of consciousness could result in physical injury. These breathing techniques may cause tingling sensations, ringing in the ears, and/or dizziness. If you feel any of these responses, don't panic it is completely normal, and consider slowing down to your body's pace. If you faint, however, you have gone too far and should take it more slowly next time.
