PURPOSE:
THE PURPOSE OF THIS GROUP IS PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUNG BUSINESS ENTREPENEURS AND INTRAPRENEURS.
I just moved from Atlanta were I was part of a Millenial personal development enterpreneuship group in which we meet up one time a month for 2 hours and we mastermind on different topics about business, disccused personal development books, talk about high level problem solving strategies, communication skills and more.
The entrepreneurship route can be a lonely one, having a tribe of people that are going through the similar journey in different field is a great way to keep accountability and create a strong network.
WHO IS THIS GROUP FOR?
Intrapreneurs, entrepreneur no matter the field, looking to meet PROFESSIONAL like minded people to discuss and share ideas. Must be MASSIVELY OPEN
-MINDED, MUST BE SELF MOTIVATED in other words and INSPIRE PERSON, HAVE DISCIPLINE, and be ok with disagreeing respectfully, that’s where growth truly comes.
WHO IS THIS GROUP NOT FOR?
People looking for clients for their business.
People looking for a hang out group to drink and party.
Someone-looking for a place to find their next love of their life.
Someone looking for a “Urraa” motivational group.
Someone looking only to received from the group but not looking to GIVE and POUR into the group and its members.
IDEAS OF MEETINGS:
This is just and idea that came to my mind couple days ago, I am open for suggestions but some of the things we used to do at my previous group in ATL were:
- Read and discuss a self development or business book for 30 minutes. ( How to Win friends and influence people, Think and grow rich, 7 habits of Highly successfull people, The science of getting rich, your next 5 move, atomic habits, can’t hurt me, traction, book yourself solid etc. *** If you know some of these books you might be a good fit for the group 😁)
- open time to share struggles that you are going through in your business (not technical struggles) and open floor to receive suggestions on strategies other group members have used to solve similar problems.
- One or Two members of the group would give a 10 minute presentation on what is it that they do and how can their business serve others, this is a great opportunity to develop your public speaking skills.
- Discuss YouTube videos or podcast that we can all see/hear in our own time, and share what we got from it.
- In the future we can bring a professional in any self development topic, divide the price between all of us and get that knowledge and high level information and learn as a group.
**** THIS GROUP IS CREATED TO MEET IN-PERSON, NO MORE ZOOM MEETINGS, HUMAN INTERACTION, CONNECTION AND ENERGY EXCHANGE IS MASSIVELY IMPORTANT FOR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL TRANSCENDENCE.
