What we’re about
Crumbling castles, windswept moors, vampires, ghosts, shadowy figures in the fog. Bristol Gothic offers an opportunity to explore one of the oldest and most exciting genres out there, in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. And preferably over a glass of wine.
We will cover a range of periods, from Victorian classics like ‘Dracula’ and ‘Frankenstein’ all the way up to contemporary works such as ‘Mexican Gothic’. A list of novels to chose from will be provided but all suggestions welcome. For those who want to we also regularly organize trips to Gothic cinema and theatre productions.
