What we’re about
This group is about Brunch, Lunch and Dinner events, and sometimes other special events - music, movies, and outdoor events! We will focus on Somerset, Union, and Middlesex Counties, but some other great dining venues and special events could be outside this area. Suggestions are always welcome too!
In addition to our once or twice a month weekend brunches, we have one or two weeknight ethnic dinners per month at interesting little venues. We also have special dinners every so often at an upscale place like Lobsterfest at RATS at the Grounds for Sculpture, or holiday dinner at Ristorante MV or Scalini Fedeli, or exploring the waterfront and NYC skyline at MOLOS in Weehawken.
This group is open to both men and women, perhaps 45+, and is NOT a "girls only" group. We're celebrating mid-life, the good life!

As you may remember, TAPASTRE and PROJECT PUB operate under the same roof and share two levels, and the same wonderful Brunch menu!
Tapastre, founded in 2007, has a friendly, casual atmosphere in a cozy space with a focus on small plate cuisine with an expansive rotating selection of craft beers and hand crafted cocktails. To encourage a social experience, some plates are meant for sharing and beers for sampling. Try a little bit of everything paired with a beer flight to get the full experience.
Project PUB, founded in 2017, is an exciting new restaurant concept in wonderfully evolving downtown Somerville. They offer creative and delicious brewpub-style food, a warm inviting atmosphere, and great beers from some of the best breweries around (and other great cocktails or beverages)!Click HERE for their Brunch menu, offered from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Our reservation is limited to 14 people. If you would like to join us, rsvp "YES" and send your deposit. This brunch/lunch requires a deposit of $11 (per person) to hold your spot. Your deposit will be returned to you at the event, or applied to your check (less $1 to help defray Meetup administration fees). Deposits are not refundable after March 10, Noon.
