What we’re about
Welcome to Brussels Unchained: The Brussels Peloton. Discover more about our community at https://brusselsunchained.cc
We meet up for cycle tours around Brussels. We're an inclusive group that's all about road cycling, sharing our love of sporty rides on our racing bikes, and wearing lycra-clad cycling clothes. In our rides you'll meet women and men cyclists alike, and you'll hear all sorts of languages spoken.
This group is for cyclists capable of maintaining a pace ranging from 24 km/h to 30 km/h. We also have special affinity groups for newcomers to road cycling, amateur race enthusiasts, and gravel cyclists too. Our rides are not appropriate for individuals on city, trekking, or mountain bikes.
Our ride captains support those struggling to keep pace. Every group ride features a new route for you to explore our surroundings. We provide GPX tracks via our WhatsApp groups and on our website ahead of rides.
Our rides are no-drop rides (but we expect you to be able to generally keep to the announced pace). Typically, the ride rules mean you can unleash all your power on the route's climbs, but we wait at the top of them for those lagging or upon our ride captains' instructions. Our Ride Captain ensure you never ride alone.
Interested in joining? Want to know more? Come and join our newcomers' lobby and we'll get you connected to all our WhatsApp community of 350+ cyclists in Brussels: https://chat.whatsapp.com/H22nOPFV2RuCSp0P1se6uP

See all- Fast Tuesday S25E04 - Captain's RideMobility Center Van Den Borre, Anderlecht
Announcing Fast Tuesday S25.E04 - a Special Edition.
Please join us next Tuesday for a celebratory ride at TGIF Friday speeds.
All are welcome, 'cause that's how Ride Captain likes it, and at the end of the ride we celebrate further at Flamingo which is reserving spots for us to celebrate all together. Your partner and your family are welcome to join us, and Ride Captain's partner would appreciate having non-cycling people to talk to about non-cycling things. For the celebrations, we're riding 57km through the Pajot at a target speed of 24km/h so that should get us to Flamingo around 21h00. We still take off from Mobility Center Van Den Borre as always. Most climbing difficulties have been avoided, so really all welcome!
If you can't join the ride and just want to join the drinks, that's also absolutely fine!➡ All ride details and GPX available on the website: https://brusselsunchained.cc/events/captain-s-ride
