1. You do not need to be a member to attend most events. To become one, see if you are in our service area and take an orientation.
2. Most workshops are FREE with a suggested donation.
3. Some workshops have a prerequisite—we'll post this info at the top of each event.

Turn your photos into engaging videos using Canva’s built-in editing tools.
This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for photographers, artists, and storytellers who want to create dynamic video slideshows using their own still images.
Participants will learn how to build a video from scratch using Canva’s drag-and-drop templates, animations, music, and text tools. This workshop will guide you through each step of the process to showcase a photo series, build a social media reel, or craft a visual portfolio.
We’ll cover:
• Setting up your video project in Canva
• Customizing templates with your photos, text, and colors
• Adding animations and music to enhance storytelling
• Syncing your video to a beat using Canva’s Beat Synch feature
• Exporting a polished slideshow ready for sharingBring your own images or use Canva’s free stock content. No prior video experience required. Canva Pro accounts will be provided for use during the session.
