This group is for those who really enjoy spending time outdoors - in and with nature. We will be camping at some of the best spots in MD,PA and VA. Many state parks that offer camping also have a variety of other activities like hiking, biking, or kayaking, that you can try out or if you prefer, just spending time reading a good book in front of the campfire. No matter if you camp in a tent, an RV,a car or just under the stars, you are welcome to join the group. Even if you have never camped before but would like to try it, this is the group for you! So get your camping gear ready and Let's Go Camping!

I had SO many requests to return to WESTMORELAND STATE PARK in VA this year so decided to do it!
Westmoreland State Park is located on the Potomac River's northern neck in Montrose, Virginia.It offers fishing, boating/kayaking, camping and 6 miles of hiking trails. Although the swimming facilities are closed, we can enjoy a walk along the sandy beach and admire a sunset on the water, like above.
