What we’re about

The Shore Club is one of Southern New Jersey's finest private golf clubs. As you look out onto Jenkins Sound in Cape May Court House you will find a picturesque 18-hole championship course. The club features an extensive practice area for driving, chipping & putting, as well as pickleball & bocce courts and a full-service restaurant & bar.

HISTORY

The Shore Club was founded in 1916 and re-established in 2017 as a premier private golf club offering its members unparalleled amenities and services. Our course, once a favorite course of Arnold Palmer during his days at the Cape May Coast Guard Station, is closely managed by a knowledgeable and professional staff, and offers a beautiful vistas of the bays of Stone Harbor, NJ

The original course at Wildwood Golf and Country Club was a homemade, nine hole course that opened for play in 1918. In 1922, Wayne E. Stiles, in conjunction with John Van Kleek, designed and built the current 18-hole course. There have been several upgrades over the years, including the addition of two new holes designed by Brian Ault, but the Stiles design influence remains the same.
