18 years of age or older, Professionals and Beginners welcome!

Cost:

• Tickets are $26. Register at urbanindigo.com or walk ins welcomed

Mediums:

• Bring your own materials or use our complimentary supplies
• No solvents or anything with a strong smell

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations only allowed 24 hours before the start of class. Cancellations made after 24 hours before class will not be refunded.

Amenities:

• 3 easels, 12 drawing horses and 5 chairs, availability on a first come, first serve basis.
• Restroom on site
• kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave
• Coffee and snacks provided
• Free WiFi

Join us for an engaging and dynamic Figure Drawing Workshop at Urban Indigo Art and Design in Castro Valley, with a nude model. Immerse yourself in the art of capturing the human form through a variety of timed poses.

• Session will include 1-minute, 2-minute, 10-minute, 20 minute and one hour poses providing a comprehensive experience in gesture and detailed figure drawing.
• No instructor will be present. No instructions will be given during class.
• Cameras are not allowed. Please keep phones on silent and put away while model is disrobed
• Please dress appropriately; the building has A/C but dome heaters will be used to keep the model comfortable and the room could get warm.
• Make sure you arrive during the check in time as the front door will be locked at 10am. You will need to wait 20 minutes to be let in after 10am check in. Check in time is between 9:30 and 10am.

Beginner Tips:

• Please bring art supplies with you and paper or use our complimentary supplies.

Suggested supplies:

• Newsprint pad 18" x 24"
• Charcoal pencils or pastels
• Drawing board, 23 1/2" x 26"
