What we’re about
Meet other local road and mountain bikers to ride local roads, paths and trails. Although the core activity will be bicycle riding, occasionally we'll throw in a different outdoor activity just for the fun of it. All skill levels are welcome and we'll scale the events according to who participates.

Fairly flat except for a slight elevation grind along Bolinger canyon .
Pace is leisurely/moderateBollinger Canyon from Rudgear | 29.6 mi Cycling Route on Strava
Friendly social ride starting in Walnut Creek, heading south on bicycling friendly Danville Blvd, for a coffee stop (Peet's in Danville) then continuing on to San Ramon Valley Rd to Crow Canyon, then Bollinger Canyon to the end at Las Trampas Regional Preserve Park. Bollinger Canyon is a pretty and woodsy quiet road with a gradual uphill (not steep) grade going out then a fun "Whee!" coming back. This is an out-and-back ride so it is easy to turn around at any point if you've had enough.
In the spirit of Oktoberfest, possible lunch at the Danville Brewery after the ride if anyone is interested.
This ride is on city streets with traffic.
Bring food, water and supplies to repair a flat.
We'll have several regroups along the way if the group gets spread out.
Helmet Required.
Meet at the Rudgear Rd. Park and Ride lot. Note: this IS NOT the little parking lot next to the Iron Horse Trail.
Roll at 10 AM sharp.
