Celebration of our Mountains Meetup Group

Established in 1994 by UTEP geology professor Dr. Phil Goodell, Celebration of Our Mountains has sponsored events for hiking, biking, birding, climbing, photographing, and studying the natural wonders and wildlife, geology, and the archaeology of the greater El Paso/Southern New Mexico region of the Chihuahuan Desert.
We also offer field trips about human history and architecture, science, and technology. This year we will be adding more astronomy field trips. There are events for all ages and skill levels. Our events are designed to be educational as well as recreational. We also organize events for private groups and organizations.
