What we’re about
The Central PA ADHD Education & Support Group has been organized by BuxMont CHADD since 2020, when the previous organizer of this group stepped down. As an active CHADD chapter outside Philadelphia, the team at BuxMont knew we could fill the need for ADHD support in Central PA, as we had already moved to Zoom. We welcome every new comer and at every meeting we welcome attendees from a wide area.

Special Education 101: Know Your Child’s Educational Rights
McAndrews Law
Tuesday, Nov 12, 7:00 – 8:30pm
School Districts are required to provide the full range of special education services for a student to make meaningful progress and which are mandated by law. It is important that families receive accurate and complete information to properly address their children’s special needs. In this presentation attorneys from McAndrews Law Firm will cover topics such as IEPs and reevaluations. The information shared will be primarily relevant to those in Pennsylvania.
Michael Connolly is a shareholder at McAndrews Law Offices and was named Supervising Partner of Special Education in 2018. He assists parents in disputes involving their public school or charter school regarding issues such as eligibility and identification, programming and placement, tuition reimbursement, discipline, bullying, discrimination, injuries, and more.
Rachel Rosenberg is an attorney with McAndrews Law Offices in the Special Education department. Ms. Rosenberg provides advice and representation to families of students with disabilities.
