Let us introduce you to this fun and exciting sport. Our members practice and train in Rhode Island on the Providence River in preparation for races throughout the New England area and beyond.
If you enjoy being out on the water and getting a great workout, you'll love dragon boat racing. You'll meet fun, easy going and like minded people from different backgrounds and all ages.
What you have no experience!! No Problem, we'll teach you everything you need to know. We are open to everyone and their skill levels. We'll make you a bad ass dragon boater, we have the technology...

Come cheer on Century Dragon Boat Club at the Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday June 8, 2025.
The Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is the first dragon boat festival in the United States. It started in 1979 and sparked the growth of the sport!
While there, you can view cultural performances and demonstrations, check out the many food vendors, arts & crafts, and the highlight of the day Dragon Boat Racing.
Come experience it all and root for Century Dragon Boat Club.

Ever wanted to try dragon boating? Come out and join us at one of our practice sessions and see what all the hype is about!
Century Dragon Boat Club is a social and friendly group of people that enjoys competing on the water and getting in a great workout.
So, you're new to this and have never paddled a dragon boat?! No problem, and no experience is needed. We'll show you everything you need to know.
We suggest you bring something to stay hydrated and wear clothing you don't mind getting wet (it is a water sport after all), and some sun screen for those nice sunny days. We have access to a bathroom and a location to lock up personal items.
We meet at the Providence Marina 17 Bridge Street between the Fish Co. and the Hot Club.
