Hello Fellow Explorers!
As some of you already know, I was not this groups original creator but have since taken over the group and plan to continue to bring plenty of hikes and outdoor adventures to you! It will be very similar to the challenging hikes that we are accustomed to in this group, with a slightly different flair. Although this groups original creator was quite civilized, I am quite nutsy!
You will see a variety of events such as hiking, camping, backpacking & kayaking!
Our hikes will take us to many of the state parks and forests in the surrounding areas:
Delaware Water Gap, Worthington, Stokes, High Point, Harriman & Delaware State Forests. Many details about the hike and surrounding area will be noted so that you know exactly what to expect.
Come summertime, I will mostly do "swikes"! This is a hike combined with a swim with no expected time frame for us to be done. By all mean, you can cut yourself loose from a "swike" if you do not wish to be outdoors for an extended period of time.
Please know that this group is active ALL year round, but I also join other groups as well depending on what the activity is!
