Thank you for attending our CHEERS! Tech-Connect event! We look forward to seeing you and perhaps becoming a member of ABTP!
Welcome to the Association for Business Technology Professionals (ABTP). Founded in 1952 our organization has taken on many names as technology and business needs changed, and we have always been a haven for ethical and professional practice of technology in business. We embrace leaders at all levels.
Our mission is to cultivate a community of ethical people-oriented business and technology leaders at all levels by providing: Life-Long Learning Opportunities - Relationship Building for Growth - Paying it Forward.
Our members include business and technology leaders utilizing technology in business - from the traditional IT professional to todays modern markteing and analytics teams. We welcome business and technology leaders and their teams as well as those professionals seeing career growth.
Our CHEERS! Tech-Connect events are on the fourth Tuesday of even numbered months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct). We welcome you to join ABTP and attend our formal speaker programs on odd months. Visit us as ABTPDFW.org to learn more.
Our CHEERS! Tech-Connect events are business technology focused events with a corporate sponsor presenting their products/services for a short time with a chance to learn about new technologies, ABTP itself, our mission, and to network with business professionals among traditional and non-traditional technology roles. Appetizers are provided and (depending on the venue) beverages. There are no dues or ABTP membership required to attend our CHEERS! Tech-Connect events. However, when attending events, there is a $20 fee due upon registration which may change based upon the venue chosen.
We move our venues for the CHEERS! Tech-Connect events around the metroplex to ensure everyone has at least one that is relatively nearby.
