The Cruise Ship Carnival Valor

Day 1. Depart from New Orleans at 3:30pm on November 24th Monday
Day 2. Fun day at the Sea
Day 3. Cozumel(Island in Mexico) 1st Port Day. 8am to 4pm
Day 4. Belize 2nd Port Day. 8am to 5pm
Day 5. Costa Maya. 3rd Port Day. 7am to 1pm
Day 6. Fun day at Sea.
Day 7. New Orleans. Arrives 8am on November 30th Sunday Return Home

Any and all prices will be a quote (prices tend to fluctuate)
This cruise has 9 full decks
There are 14 decks altogether on board

Bars, Clubs and Casinos are on the cruise and is adult only.
Every cruise typically has 2 twin XL beds in the room, but they can be connected to be a king size bed

There is a place if you need your kids to be watched
This is for kids 6 months and up to teenage years
Typically from 10am to 10pm (this is a free service covered in your rate)
There is a fee if you want them to be watched after 10pm.

Each adult can bring one bottle of wine or champagne on the cruise(750ml)
You can bring one 12pack of canned soda (no more than 12 ounces of soda) or 12 pack of carton/can Juice.
No bottles allowed on the cruise

Drink Package is $70.74. a day.
This is per person.
Everyone in the Cabin has to pay for the package if one person wants to get it.
****There may be drink cards offered on the cruise. Stayed tuned
Average drink price on cruise is $12 to $15
The cruise limits you to a max 15 drinks a day.
For example, 4 people in a room, everyone has to pay for the package.
This includes wine, mimosas, champagne, and other drinks at the bar Personally I'm inclined to not get the drink Package since we have 3 Port days.

For Wi-Fi- put the phone in airplane mode then connect to the cruise Wi-Fi. This service for Wi-Fi on the ship is NOT free
****You ABSOULUELY have to put it into airplane mode otherwise you will rack up roaming charges on your phone plan. Cost can exceed north of $500 if you forget to place on airplane mode.
There are 4 different plans.
The basic one starts at $15.30 per day. (You cannot facetime. You cannot email. Only good for checking social media)
I'm leaning towards the Premium plan $21.25 /person per day (you can FT and all the other stuff)

For $5 a day, you can ONLY text someone on the ship.
Also, any plan covers one device.
Each person must pay for there own WiFi if they do not wish to share.
Otherwise you can share Wi-Fi but only one person can use it at a time

There is a Spa & Salon on the cruise.
There are entertainments, shows, Karoke and events on and off the ship (I will post in more detail soon)

You are not able to use your credit card, debit card, PayPal, venmo or cash on the ship.
You will have to put a debit/credit card on file for the room/cabin at the start of the cruise
I will be putting a credit card on file for my Cabin since they have more protections then debit cards.
Any additional purchases will be charged to your room/card
If you leave on Port days to explore the area, I recommend you use cash.
You don't want to spend time on your cruise fighting fraudulent charges.
Gratuity is an automatic $16 a day charged to your card
We will be able to check the Cruise Hub app to see what all is spent.

There are designated smoking areas on the ship.

Interior Cabin (from the lowest level to the upper level) $854
Balcony Cabin (Higher on the ship Deck 6 and up) $1,164
Ocean View (decks 1 & 2) $919

The first 2 guest is the full standard pricing
The next 2 people is reduced rate
For example, 3 people (2 adults plus 1 kid or 1 adults)

For example, 4 people (2 adults plus 2 kids or 2 adults)

I know im getting ahead of myself but I wanted to promote this event that happens every year.
Every year, there are Caribbean Festivals.
It happens in different parts of the world.
I have attended the largest North American gathering there in Toronto.
It was AMAZING!!!!
Every day, you will experience Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Hip hop, "some" R&B, live music and more.
The food is better.
The people are nice.
Individuals wearing their country flags and representing where they come from.
I have attended this twice.
Once in an airbnb with friends.
Once in a hotel.
If you wanted to stay in a hotel for 4 nights and get access to every event, for 2 people it's like $700. For 4 people in a hotel room it's like $500.

For airbnb it's a matter of how many people going and how much it is. When I went it was 10 of us. we paid $250 apiece and another $200 for the use events.
This does not include food drinks and anything else you may need.
Regardless...........
No kids
No work
Just 4 days of music, food, dancing, hookah, for some legal Marijuana, sleep......then REPEAT!
