Chinatown LA Community Events

Learn how to play Hong Kong-style mahjong in a relaxed setting. We're opening up our space to seasoned and beginner players! For beginners or those needing a refresher, an introductory mahjong presentation and demonstration will be given at the start of every hour (7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM). Most people are able to play (and win!) mahjong on their own after this presentation.

This is a fun, chill spot for professionals to network over a game of mahjong. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks for yourself or to share.

RSVP by sending us $10 below. We are limiting to 20 paid in advance. Please put mahjong + meet up name when you pay so we can adjust your status to paid in meetup. We're raising funds to buy more mahjong sets and tables.

Please bring your own death-related book for the evening, or sit with something new from our extensive library. Drinks & light snacks will be available. We meet one Monday each month.
