What we’re about
A safe space for connection and support - no matter where you live.
You're not alone in your chronic illness or chronic pain journey. The Chronic Haven invites you to join our bi-weekly meetings with our online support group, a safe and non-judgmental space where you can share your story, connect with others who understand, and find support.
Wherever You Are, You're Welcome
Whether you're newly diagnosed, navigating a flare-up, or finding ways to manage your condition, our meetings are a place for you to be heard, validated, and supported. Our online community for patients (not caregivers) is built on empathy, compassion, and mutual understanding.

Participation:
Join at your comfort level—cameras are optional! We’re all in this chronic patient journey together, so come as you are (no nudity, though!). Feel free to eat, drink, and relax. Pajamas are totally welcome!
Respect:
Let’s keep the vibes positive—leave politics at the door and bring your kindness. We’re here to support each other, no matter where you’re at in your health journey. Thriving? Awesome! We’d love to hear your success stories and any tips for the group.
Questions:
Have questions about your diagnosis, treatments, or therapies? Send them to me or Elle before the meeting. We’re happy to help. If you’ve got feedback or comments, we’d love to hear those too. And if you need to ask something anonymously, just let us know.
Need support between meetings?
Join our active Discord server and follow our social media channels.
Meeting Format:
- Admin Updates:
We’ll start with some quick updates from the admins. - Introductions:
If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself with your first name, location, and brief diagnosis. Not in the mood? Just say, “PASS PLEASE.” - Sharing Time (5 mins each):
Everyone gets 5 minutes to share what’s on their mind about their chronic illness or pain. No advice yet—this is just your time to speak and be heard. - Group Feedback (3 mins each):
After everyone’s shared, we’ll open the floor for advice and feedback. Please raise your hand to let the moderator know you’ve got something to add. To make sure everyone has a chance, we’ll keep responses to 3 minutes each. - Wrapping Up:
If you’d like, you can share your contact info via DM to stay in touch with others. This is totally voluntary! - Extra Time:
The meeting is scheduled for 1.5 hours, but we might wrap up the main part earlier, depending on participation. Afterward, stick around for an optional, unmoderated hangout or join us for a meditation or tapping exercise.
