What we’re about
We're gamer-types interested in playing games, being social, making friends, and meeting new people. We love all types of games, especially role-playing, but also board, card, miniature, or whatever. We also love all gaming adjacent stuff too, such as anime, cosplay, game design, world building, video games, and more.
- We believe in getting games off your shelf and onto the table.
- Mission statement: Play everything at least once.
- Our unofficial motto: "Yeah, we'll play that!"
- We exist to help players find games and GMs find players.
- We welcome new players and new GMs to the greater Cincinnati area.
- We liaison with other organizations, podcasts, cons, game stores, and more.
- We encourage all everyone to game, especially underrepresented demographics such as women, LGBTQIA+ people, and BIPOC (biracial, indigenous, people of color).

See all- Learn to Play: Pirates of the Spanish Main - Miniatures GameJester's Cards and Games , Milford, OH
In Pirates of the Spanish Main, players make fleets of ships to sink other ships and to sail to different islands looking for treasure. This booty is obtained in one of two ways: commanding your salty dogs to dig it out of the ground or sending your opponent’s ships to Davy Jones’ locker! Either way, game play is fast and fun, and the built-in damage tracking system makes it the game of choice of wannabe-buccaneers everywhere.
Pirates of the Spanish Main includes numerous different pieces, including ships, crew, treasure, and famous (and infamous!) personalities.
Everything provided, but bring your own fleet if you've got some of these ships!

Scenario Background - Sunday 10th April 1892. Paris, France.
- The Belle Epoque, a period of peace across Europe in which scientific discoveries and technological advancements are being made amidst emerging artistic fashions. In Paris, the arts are flourishing.
- The Salon de la Rose + Croix, is a new art and music salon, which has been hosted by Josephin Peladan. Running from 10th March to 10th April 1892, with the center of the exhibition being the Durand-Ruel Gallery at 11 Rue le Peletier, in the 9th arrondissement Paris. Several galleries and opera houses can be found in the district. It is the beating heart of the artistic community in the city.
- The Salon de la Rose + Croix emerged from the Mystic Order of the Rose + Croix, which was also of Peladan's creation. The Mystic Order is a religious, almost cult-like, movement created in Paris after Peladan left a Martinist order. The majority of the Salon's artists are comprised of Symbolist painters, writers, and composers that are coming to prominence at this time.
- Peladan himself is a well-known art critic who celebrates the works of artists who focus on the themes of myths, dreams, and allegory. The core of Peladan's doctrine is that art should be of an esoteric flavor. He hopes that this new wave of art might eventually overcome what he sees as "European materialism" exemplified by the influential artists of the Academie des Beaux-Arts that continue to support Impressionism. The Salon de la Rose + Croix is the vehicle by which he hopes to make this dream a reality.
