What we’re about
We're a gathering of gamers looking to meet new people, make friends, and play a variety of systems and types of games: role-playing, board, card, miniature, whatever. We believe in getting games off your shelf and onto the table. Our unofficial motto is, "Sure, we'll play that!"
We welcome new players and new GMs to the Cincinnati area. We also function to meet other gaming-type peoples, socialize with them, and integrate all the different gaming communities within the tri-state area. We encourage all people to play and run games, especially women, LGBTQIA people, and people of color. We also exist to help players find games and help GMs find players.

A tragedy has befallen the sleepy mountain town of Tall Pines. One of its best and brightest – a young local with a promising future – has been killed. Murdered horribly in the prime of their youth. Together we will unravel the mystery of their death, discover what it means for our little town, and maybe even learn who committed the murder…but we may learn more than we ever wanted to know.
Tall Pines is a one-session, card-based tabletop story game where you’ll discover, create, and explore a murder mystery set in a small mountain town. We'll play through a tale in 3 acts, using the game cards to prompt exciting and enigmatic scenes, establish a shared language of symbolism and metaphor, and reveal the secrets that the town and its people hide.
Tall Pines is also directly and shamelessly inspired by the TV series Twin Peaks. We could also play the Tall Pines variations Deep Space Monitors (X-Files inspired) or Cyclopean Bluffs (Lovecraftian Innsmouth inspired) if the table wants to.

Beak, Feather, & Bone is a collaborative worldbuilding tool as well as a competitive map-labeling RPG. Starting with an unlabeled city map, players are assigned community roles before taking turns claiming and describing locations. Players draw from a standard 52-card deck to determine a building's purpose and then describe its beak (reputation), feather (appearance), and bone (interior). As buildings are claimed, a narrative for the town and its inhabitants emerges, including major NPCs and shifting power-dynamics.
