Welcome to Circle of Friends Meetup group. This is a fun women's social group for those who have common interests, such as dining out, going to live music events, seeing a good movie (extra butter on my popcorn please), and so much more.
Our goal is to create meaningful connections and friendships through our shared passions. Whether you're looking to explore new activities or simply want to meet like-minded women in a relaxed and fun environment, this is the group for you. We will be holding periodic new members events as we know it can be scary going to your first event alone. But please know that if you are a first-timer at an event, our event host will make sure you feel welcomed.
Our members tend to in their 40s – 60s (but younger and older is totally fine – we are an accepting group.) And while we might occasionally have events where you can bring a male guest, for the most part, this is about friendships. Single? Married? Divorced? Widowed? Doesn’t matter – come as you are!
Quick note about membership fees. There is a small annual fee to offset the $350 a year that Meetup charges organizers. You get 30 days free before you need to make the decision as to whether or not you want to stay as a member. The nice thing about a membership fee is that if you pay, you are likely to attend something. We aren't looking to have 500 members (of which only 30 ever come to events). We are looking to make strong friendships. We hope that will be you!
