This Great Camp is a must see. The trail to it is almost 3 miles of rolling hills that require no great technical skill (approximately 10 mile round trip). It will require some endurance so take rest stops and bring water and a snack. There will be refreshments and hot chocolate at the cabin when you arrive as well as a warm fire. The area of Newcomb, NY is well known for great snow!

A outhouse is available at the start near the parking area. I will meet everyone including CASTA members from the private parent club at 10 am wearing CASTA a jacket.

CASTA is going to Craftsbury Outdoor Center! Dates are Sunday March 9 to Weds March 12. This will be a fantastic 3 day trip to northern Vermont: over 100K of beautiful trails of forests and meadows. They even have snow making!!! Ski passes, room and all meals (3 per day and all that you can eat!) included, there will be a wine and cheese reception! All for $320 pp (based on double occupancy). Rooms are dorm style and there is a shared bath room. JUST A FEW ROOMS STILL AVAILABLE!
