What we’re about
Are you interested in, or open to comic books? In this group we read and discuss a comic book twice a month, go to comic/nerdy movies, and get together for other events. All levels of comic book experience are welcome.
It costs $360 a year to have this webpage so we do require a $15 a year fee to cover these costs. New members have 60 days to try us out before they will be charged.
We ask that for new members, your first meetup be an event NOT at a member's house. We have comic book discussions, craft times, and dinners out. This gives you and us the perfect space to meet one another. Event details will let you know if something is not first timer friendly.
Comic Book Club for Women Inclusivity Statement:
We welcome trans women, genderqueer, agender, and non-binary individuals. If you feel you would belong here, welcome! We do not accept people who identify most closely as male/cis-men.
This group is geared toward adults and not children.
If you have questions or feedback about the above statements, please contact one of the organizers either in person or through the Meetup messaging feature.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- January Comic: Watership Down: The Graphic NovelWorld Tae Kwon Do College, Denver, CO
This month we'll read Watership Down: The Graphic Novel by James Sturm.
Location will be at The Bookies bookstore (there's a room straight back and to the left). Meetup can't find this address but the pin below is accurate. There is some parking, but you could probably park at the Post Office across the street and walk over.
Please note: our indoor comic book discussions might be capped depending on where we meet. If we reach capacity and you would still like to participate in the comic discussion, send Lauren and Nicole a message through the MeetUp App or Discord (preferred method).
