What we’re about
The Contookuleles is New Hampshire's newest ukulele meetup group. We are a fast-growing group of experienced players and beginners. We are all about learning, socializing, making music and, most of all, having fun!
New members are always welcome. We meet in the Community Room at the Hopkinton Town Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6-8 p.m.

See all- Uke JamHopkinton Town Library, Contoocook, NH
We'll continue practicing for our upcoming festivals, SNHUGFEST on September 20 and the Warner Ukulele Festival on October 4.
I created a new folder, Festival Songs. It contains 10 songs, including both the old and new versions of Big Rock Candy Mountain. We will choose five or six songs for each festival. Will the Circle Be Unbroken is the finale song for the Warner Festival, to be performed by everyone attending.
Please also download the songs in this Kids' Songs folder. We'll be playing some of them with all the other groups at the Warner festival. For Ain't No Bugs on Me, I've asked other groups to write a verse, and each group will sing their own verse, with everyone joining in on the chorus. If you're feeling creative, please write a verse and send it to me.
- SNHUGFEST 2025Henry Law Park, Dover, NH
We've been invited to perform at the 9th annual SNHUGFEST in Dover, a concert that benefits the Ukulele Kids Club, which provides instruments and music therapy to hospitalized children both locally and across the country.
Details on the festival are here. Our performance time slot is 1 - 1:30 p.m.
We will pick five or six songs from among those in a new folder called Festival Songs. There are four new songs in the folder, so we'll concentrate on those during our upcoming practice sessions.
I know we have a busy schedule this fall, with our own festival in Warner on Oct. 4, but I hope you can make SNHUGFEST. It's an honor to have been invited and I hope to make a good showing.
