What we’re about
The Contookuleles is New Hampshire's newest ukulele meetup group. We are a fast-growing group of experienced players and beginners. We are all about learning, socializing, making music and, most of all, having fun!
New members are always welcome. We meet in the Community Room at the Hopkinton Town Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6-8 p.m.

Are you ukulele curious? If so, join the Hopkinton Town Library and members of The Contookuleles for a free, four-week, intro-to-uke workshop beginning January 18 at the library.
No prior experience necessary. Workshops will cover all the basics -- how to hold the uke, how to strum, tuning, and how to read common ukulele song sheets. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one from the library. We'll also have several extras on hand.
Workshops are from 10:30 a.m. to noon, January 18 and 25 and February 1 and 8 in the library's Local History Room.

We've got a batch of new songs for the new year, all located in the folder 2025 Songs. I tried to pick songs that will challenge us a bit, while still relying on familiar chords. This is the same song list from our Jan. 7 meeting, but there are some additions, including The Beatles I'm Looking Through You and Puff the Magic Dragon, which we added as a tribute to Paul Yarrow.
