What we’re about
The idea behind this group is to give people with an interest in creating something - be it a painting, sculpture, music, novel, movie, or something completely different - a group of fellow creatives they can meet up with for support, stimulating conversation, and friendship. Events may range from going to see a play or a gig, to taking a helicopter ride, to simply gathering at a coffee shop or restaurant. The main thing that connects us and our events is our shared love of creating something, so every event will include time to talk about this and get to know each other better. One last thing: I live right at the eastern end of Cornwall (near Liskeard), so I've scheduled the first couple of events in that area (one is even in Devon!) but I would *love* suggestions and recommendations for events across the WHOLE of Cornwall. Ideas I've had include: a trip to the Minack Theatre on October 14th to see short plays by young playwrights (not yet on their calendar); a trip to Truro on November 2nd to see Dawn French's "Dawn French Is a Huge TW*T" at the Hall for Cornwall; Fowey's Festival of Arts and Literature in May 2024; and trips to Falmouth, St. Ives, and various places across Cornwall for our regular "Creative Chat" mixer events at restaurants.

'Once a coastguard station renowned for daring rescues, the old Watch House is now all but abandoned. Just like Anne, dumped here while her parents sort their divorce. She’s never felt more alone. But she isn’t…
Sunk deep in the past is a secret which threatens everything. Only Anne can stop it. Catapulted on an adventure through graveyards, discos and shipwrecks, she and her eccentric crew must uncover the truth before it’s too late.
