What we’re about

Some of my best conversations and connections have been made with craft beer in my hand. If this statement resonants with you, then this meetup is for you. We rotate visiting some of the best breweries and craft beer bars that Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas have to offer. Come to network, make a friend, meet new connections, socialize, collaborate, and more...all while drinking great craft beer. Most events are formatted like a happy hour: late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight (Tues-Thur) and you pay for what you drink.

Primitive Beer Pop-up @ New Image Brewing in Wheat Ridge, CO

New Image Brewing - Wheat Ridge, 9505 W 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO, US

Join us on Wednesday, October 22nd at New Image Brewing in Wheat Ridge, CO for a special pop-up event with Primitive Beer. The folks at Primitive used to have a taproom in Longmont, but they closed it to focus primarily on making exquisite beer. They now periodically host special releases and tastings at New Image's Wheat Ridge location.

I say this is the best of both worlds. Primitive specializes in spontaneous and barrel-fermented beers. In other words, think tart, sour, funky, and delicious. But for those whose palettes are not as adventurous, you have the amazing variety of New Image beers to fall back on. I may have to double-fist it that night because I love both!

    Reminders:

    1. Feel free to bring others and encourage them to join this Meetup. It'll make it easier for them to hear about upcoming events and to RSVP.
    2. Be respectful and welcoming to all members. The organizer reserves the right to remove any member from the group who doesn't play well with others.
    3. Similarly, be respectful to the organizer - only RSVP if you are truly coming and make your best effort to give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel. This also helps anyone on the Waitlist get a chance to come. And if you're a no-show 3 times, you will be removed from the group.
    4. Be smart when drinking alcohol and safe getting home.
    5. Events are free and you pay for your own beer. Buying a beer for the organizer is encouraged!

Broncos Viewing Party @ Windfall Brewing Company in Westminster, CO

Windfall Brewing, 14694 Orchard Pkwy Suite 400, Westminster, CO, US

Join us on Thursday, November 6th at Windfall Brewing Co. in Westminster, CO to watch the Broncos take on the Raiders. I love when the stars align and we can combine a Meetup with Thursday Night Football. Since it's a home game, I purposely picked a place that kept us away from downtown. Plus, they have food which is 100% essential for football and beer.

Gathering @ Zymos Brewing in Littleton, CO (Redux!)

Zymos Brewing, 5180 S Lowell Blvd, Littleton, CO, US

Join us at Zymos Brewing in Littleton, CO on Wednesday, November 19th, starting at 5:00pm. For those who have been in the group for a while, you may remember we tried to go here last year. Several factors, including snow, forced us to cancel, but I always wanted to reschedule. So let's try it again and hope the elements are in our favor this time.

3-year Celebration @ Cheluna Brewing Company in Aurora, CO

Cheluna Brewing Company, 2501 Dallas Street, Aurora, CO, US

Join us at Cheluna Brewing Co. in Aurora, CO on Thursday, December 18th for our 3-year anniversary. Time flies, doesn't it? I like to think of our anniversary as a year-end holiday party. So I have extended the time (4:00 to 8:00pm) and put no cap on the RSVPs. The best part is that Cheluna is inside Stanley Marketplace, so we have lots of food options and even other beverage options if beer isn't your thing!
