What we’re about
D&D at B&B is a weekly TTRPG event in downtown Chattanooga, TN. We try to make our games as inclusive as possible; our goal is to lower the barrier for entry for new folks to get involved in the hobby. New players don't need to bring anything--we provide free dice and character sheets for all first-timers, and all skill levels are welcome!
As the name might suggest, these events are Dungeons and Dragons heavy, but other TTRPGs are welcome.
How it works:
Check our signup sheet for games being run on a specific night you want to join us (usually posted a week ahead of time), and reserve your spot! If all the currently available spots are taken, you can hop on a game's waitlist to show your interest in case someone drops (or the GM can squeeze ooooone more person in), or grab a spot in a Flex game--games offered by folks who would prefer to play that night, but are willing to run if needed for overflow players. Unless a game says otherwise, the default assumption is that a game is newbie friendly--the GM will teach folks everything at the table! Of course, if you've never played a particular TTRPG before, it's never a bad idea to look it up and see if it sounds like it might be up your alley.
Folks make their way over during the 6 o'clock hour. The event begins officially at 6:30, but feel free to come earlier if you'd like to finish dining before the game starts. Character sheets and dice will be provided. GMs will pitch their games around 6:50 and get going promptly at 7pm. Late arrivals are allowed at each GM's discretion. Play will continue through the close of business at 8pm. Food orders will need to be placed no later than 7:30pm. Games will last between 2 and 3 hours. All players must be off premises at 10pm.
For Dungeon/Game Masters:
Anyone that wants to pitch and run a game can add it on our sign up sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lrR7AQVKMiC1YMtAO8ToNijQrmeKrz8-n0YrWc8fs_E/edit?usp=sharing) for whichever night. You are welcome to run any TTRPG, but please note in your description if it is not newbie friendly. You are welcome to run one-shots, drop-in/out campaigns, and limited series. You are also welcome to run private one-shots and campaigns, where players can Waitlist for your game, but only you or an Admin can move them from Waitlist to your game list.
What You Need to Bring:
You don't need to bring anything to play--we provide dice, character sheets, and helpful advice for all new players!
So, if you want to meet new people, learn the rules of D&D or TTRPGs, or just play some games and have some drinks, come out and join us every week!

Join us for an evening of adventure!
DMs of all skill levels, using any system or setting, are always welcome.
How It Works:
- We use a digital signup where GMs (including Flex!) post their pre-pitch specs (including min-max table size), and players can sign up--either for specific games, or in general, including Waitlisting--to help with event/table management. An Admin or an Admin helper can help with signups on-site for in-person/walk-in signups.
- Our event begins at 6:30pm, but you can arrive early if you'd like to finish dining before games start.
- At 6:50 PM, GMs give their pitches, and players choose which game they'd like to take part in. Games begin promptly at 7, and run 2 to 3 hours.
What You Need to Bring:
You don't need to bring anything to play--we provide dice, character sheets, and helpful advice for all new players!- Players, if you want to bring a homemade character sheet, feel free to reach out to a specific GM to discuss.
- GMs, if you are interested in running a game, we provide players with dice, pencils, and D&D 5e, lv3 pregens. You will need to bring whatever you usually use to run a session--e.g., books, maps, minis, etc. If you're running a system other than 5e, you'll need to provide character sheets (and rules instructions) for your players.
See you soon, adventurers!
