What weโre about
Daily Meetups nonprofit started back in 2022, with one goal in mind. Create consistent opportunities for internationals to hang out, very single day - why it is called 'daily'.
Every week, over 100 internationals attend our recurring meetups โ same time, same place. Board games on Mondays. Drinks on Fridays. Hikes on Sundays. And so forth.
Hosts we support get to do what they love, and make newcomers feel welcome.
Have questions about an event? Ask the host or our WhatsApp group - details in every event description.
Why small events? Big ones can feel overwhelming. Who do you talk to?
How do you join a group, in the middle of their conversation?
At a smaller meetup, you just show up, sit down, and talk.
Or even betterโฆ listen, and be curious of what others have to say.
New in town, coming alone, or might be late โ no worries!
And if youโre not feeling it, no pressure to stay โtil the end ๐
Unlike one-off events, you donโt have to make a perfect first impression. There's no expectation to exchange contacts and "make friends" right away. It's natural for these things to develop... well, naturally.
Everyone just wants to chill after a busy day, do something they love with people they like. By attending for weeks, you come to see familiar faces and see if you'd also like to hang out (outside the meetups).
Honestly, easiest way want to connect with many is to host!
Let us know what you'd love to do consistently, and we'll do the rest ๐

Love languages? ๐ Want to practice speaking? Come to our meetup!
How does it work? Simple!
๐ We will make a name tag for you with your name and languages that you speak/learn.
๐ Once you have it - look at other peoples' nametags - see anyone who has a language you want to practice? Strike a conversation or join it!Important:
- Be comfortable to "eavesdrop" on a conversation in a fascinating language you are not ready to speak yet - "I just want to listen" is a thing! โ๐
- If someone joins you with this intention - and you were not speaking English in the first place - don't switch to English (as you normally would, because you don't want to exclude your friend from a conversation!) - but in this setting - keep talking! You are giving others an opportunity to listen! ๐๐
Well, this is it...we are looking forward to seeing you on Friday! Let's discover unexpected language matches together! ๐คฉ
๐ธDisclaimer: The host may take photos during the event for promotion purposes. If you do not agree with this, please inform the host directly at the beginning of the meetup, otherwise it will be understood as consent.
โ Please RSVP so that we could take your participation into account. Let the hosts know if you happen to be late. Invite friends and family who share your love for books and languages!
