What makes us different? The area around Middletown and Dayton is fast growing and under-represented in the Meetup arena. We are trying to bridge that gap with social activities that take place all over this region.
What else? If you’re shy, come early and meet with the organizers first. We will do our best to make you feel at ease and introduce you to others as they arrive for an event.
Is that all? Remember, we can organize events, but without you, there is no group. So sign up and get active!

See all- Bill Yeck Beautiful Spring Evening Monday Hike! SMITH HOUSE ENTRANCE2230 east centerville station road, Centerville , OH
Oh yeah! This hike actually qualifies for a trail siren alert! For those of you new to this phenomenon, every avid hiker knows about this mythological creature that resides in beautiful hiking areas. Her soulful melodies are spotlighted by sunshine, and glide on the gentle breeze of a gorgeous day. Partly sunny and mid 60s when we start this hike! There WILL be MUD on the trails, but not of the kind that sucks your boots off your feet. I know where all the less muddy trails are, and we'll stick to those. You may want your water bottle, and also hiking boots or hiking shoes since there may be a creek crossing or two using mostly large rocks. Trekking poles are recommended if you have them. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO PAVED TRAILS on this hike. There will likely be a bit of mud. I do have an alternate route in mind if the water level is high. You may also want trekking poles. The pace for this hike will be about 2.8 mph on somewhat hilly terrain in some places. This hike will be about 3 - 3.5 miles in length. You may want to bring a change of shoes for your drive home. Please plug the park address into your GPS. I'm not sure the pin drop is all that accurate. This hike is cross posted with another meet up, but you only need to sign up for one meet up.
